First noticed on Raye's 2022 single "Escapism", singer Danielle Balbuena aka 070 Shake has tackled many styles through her inimitable voice. Born in North Bergen, New Jersey, on June 13, 1997, in 2016 she signed with Kanye West's GOOD Music label, affiliated with Def Jam Recordings, for which she recorded the single "Trust Nobody" (2016), the EP Glitter (2018) and the album Modus Vivendi (2020) and its gold-certified hit "Guilty Conscience", which reveal her musical eclecticism in the alternative spirit. A member of the 070 collective, from which she borrows her stage name, the singer and rapper co-produced - with Mike Dean and Dave Sitek (TV on the Radio) - her second album You Can't Kill Me (2022), where R&B, rap and synth/alternative pop once again intersect, as on the single "Body" with Christine & the Queens. Despite excellent critical reception, the album failed to chart. The artist continued to chart his own course with singles including "Natural Habitat" (2023), a duet with Ken Carson, followed by the album Petrichor (2024), featuring JT from City Girls, country singer Cam and the famous Courtney Love, for a new cross-cutting opus including the Beach Boys-inspired medley "Winter Baby / New Jersey Blues".
