Sometimes things happen very quickly in music. Such is the case with Parisian collective 1995, who went straight from freestyles and the underground to third place in the iTunes chart with their 2011 EP La Source. Signed to Zoxea's label, 1995 looks set to be part of a long-awaited French rap revival. La Suite, released in March 2012, reached number eight in the French sales charts, confirming 1995's momentum. With Paris Sud Minute, the group chose December 31, 2012 as the date for their first proper album.
