Born as "Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph" on October 22, 1992, 21 Savage is a platinum-selling, chart-topping hip-hop artist. He was raised in East London, England, and move to the US at seven years old. After a troubled teenage life, he began to pursue a music career and immersed himself within Atlanta's underground rap scene. His 2015 mixtape, The Slaughter Tape, established 21 Savage as an up-and-coming rap artist, while the debut album Issa Album reached Number 2 on the Billboard 200 two years later. Issa Album's lead single, "Bank Account," reached Number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and eventually went platinum six times over. 21 Savage's follow up release, I Am > I Was, was even more successful, peaking at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 for two weeks and, like its predecessor, going platinum. Savage Mode II, a collaborative album with Metro Boomin, returned 21 Savage to Number 1 in 2020, earning two platinum-certified hits with the Top 10 singles "Runnin" and "Mr. Right Now." Two years later, 21 Savage topped the charts again -- not only in America, but also in Canada, the UK, and five additional countries -- with another collaborative record, Her Loss. Recorded with Drake, Her Loss featured seven Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. The success continued with 2024's American Dream, another Number 1 album whose hits included the Top 5 single "Redrum" and the Dojo Cat duet "N.H.I.E."
