A Fine Frenzy

Alison Sudol, born on December 23, 1984 in Seattle, Washington, is an American singer, pianist and actress who is known under the stage name A Fine Frenzy. The name "A Fine Frenzy" comes from William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and reflects her literary passion. Musically, A Fine Frenzy plays indie pop and alternative music, characterized by sensitive melodies and poetic lyrics. Their debut album One Cell in the Sea was released in 2007 and reached number 91 on the US Billboard 200 and number 20 in the German album charts. The single "Almost Lover" is particularly successful in Europe and reaches number 8 in the German singles charts. the second album Bomb in a Birdcage followed in 2009, reaching number 28 in the US charts and number 33 in Germany. The single "Blow Away" is taken from it. in 2012, she released her third album Pines, which reached number 62 in the US charts. In addition to her music career, Alison Sudol is also active as an actress. Since 2016, she has played the role of Queenie Goldstein in the film series Fantastic Beasts.
