Few DJs have succeeded like A Guy Called Gerald in evolving over time, changing style while remaining authentic. A true pioneer of English acid house in 1988 with "Voodoo Ray ", he then moved on to jungle and drum & bass with 28 Gun Bad Boy in 1992. In 2000 with Essence and in 2005 with To All Things What They Need, A Guy Called Gerald ventured into ambient of the highest order. The exceptionally long-lived DJ comes full circle with Proto Acid / The Berlin Sessions in 2006, for a live DJ set of pure dancefloor pleasure.
