Actor and singer, Aaron Lazar is equally at home on Broadway, in film and on television. Born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, on June 21, 1976, he took his first steps in musical comedy while studying art. Fresh from his studies, he embarked on a career as a singer and actor, appearing in revivals of hit productions such as The Phantom of the Opera, Oklahoma!, Mamma Mia! and Les Misérables, before moving simultaneously into film and television. He became the Doctor Strange Double in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019), and took on a recurring role in Filthy Rich (2020), among other TV series appearances. After other stage successes since South Pacific at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles in 2007, Aaron Lazar sings in the symphonic version of Company (2011) and plays in Merrily We Roll Along in 2016. In 2024, he undertook the recording of his first album of standards, Impossible Dream, for which he surrounded himself with renowned voices from musical comedy and pop such as Josh Groban, Kristin Chenoweth, Loren Allred, Leslie Odom Jr. and Kate Baldwin, among others. Upon release, the album reached No. 5 on the Billboard classical music chart.
