AaRON

Simon Buret and Olivier Coursier are pop duo AaRON (Artificial Animals Riding On Neverland). Formed in 2005, the duo scored their first hit in 2007 with the single "U-Turn (Lili)", which featured on the soundtrack for the French feature film Don’t Worry, I’m Fine. Taken from their debut self-titled album, the track reached 17 in the French music charts and 21 in Belgium. The album, released in 2007, was a top ten hit and went on to be certified 2× Gold in their native France. AaRON went on to release their second album, Birds in the Storm in 2010, which featured the singles "Rise" and "Seeds of Gold". The album was a Number 1 hit in Belgium and was again certified 2x Gold in France. 2013 saw the pair compose the soundtrack for the film Les Yeux Fermés, directed by Jessica Palud, and released their third album, We Cut the Night, in 2015. They have also collaborated with French singer Zazie, on the song "La place du vide", which was taken from her 2010 album, Za7ie. Buret and Coursier returned to the studio before releasing a new single, "The Flame", in 2019 and a new EP in early 2020.
