American clarinettist David Krakauer keeps the tradition of klezmer music alive. Formerly known as Yiddish music, the klezmer style originated in Eastern Europe and is now perpetuated in the American Jewish community. After his band Klezmer Madness! and his collaboration with The Klezmatics and Kronos Quartet, David Krakauer formed Abraham Inc. in 2009 with Pee Wee Ellis (saxophone) and Fred Wesley (trombone). The result is the album Tweet Tweet, released in October 2009.
