Adélaïde Chabannes de Balsac was born in Paris on April 20, 1995. In 2013, with her sights set on becoming a singer, she posted an advert on the Internet, asking for musicians to contact her. That's how she met Raphaël Faget-Zaoui, with whom she was to share the microphone. Together, they founded the Parisian band Milky Way, which was quickly renamed Thérapie Taxi when guitarist and keyboardist Félix Gros and drummer Renaud Bizart joined. Together, they established a musical formula between rap and synthetic pop-rock. The group recorded two studio albums, Hit Sale in 2018 and Cadavre Exquis in 2019, as well as two EPs, Therapie Taxi - EP (2017) and Rupture 2 Merde (2021). The latter marks the end of the band's eight-year existence and a farewell tour. Adélaïde Chabannes de Balsac, who had already signed a few collaborations on her own, such as with Louane on the song "Pleure " in 2020 and with Benjamin Biolay on "Parc fermé" in 2021, launched her solo career in 2022, under the stage name Adé. The first track, "Tout savoir", a pop-tinged success, was released in April. It preceded the debut album Et Alors? by several months, reaching ninth place in the French SNEP charts. Its reissue, Et Alors ???, followed in 2022 with six new tracks, including "J'me barre", which foreshadowed the rockier tone of the follow-up with the titles "Forts", "Toujours +" and the album Inside Out MVMT, released in 2024.
