Alessandra

Alessandra is an Italian-born Norwegian singer who first jumped to fame on the seventh season of the reality singing competition The Voice – Norges beste stemme. Born Alessandra Watle Mele on September 5, 2002, in Pietra Ligure, Italy, she grew up in the town of Cisano sul Neva and won her first talent competition at the age of 12. She relocated to Porsgrunn, Norway, shortly after graduating high school in 2021 and later settled in Lillehammer, where she attended the Lillehammer Institute of Music Production and Industries. In 2022, Alessandra participated in the reality program The Voice – Norges beste stemme, making it to the live shows stage before being sent home. Following her elimination from the show, she was selected to perform at the Melodi Grand Prix, eventually winning the competition and earning the chance to represent Norway at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest with her song "Queen of Kings." The track, which was officially released as a single on January 9, 2023, debuted atop Norway's VG-lista chart and peaked at Number 35 in Sweden.
