A funny little woman from Detroit (Michigan), Alex Winston is an expert at blurring the lines. At once electro, rock, folk and alternative, she claims to be as much Ted Nugent as Kate Bush or Björk. After the By the Roots EP in 2007, Alex Winston caused a sensation in 2010 with the internet album Basement Covers. The mini-album Sister Wife in 2011 reveals a new facet of her multi-faceted talent.
