Alex y el Clan Azabache

Alex y el Clan Azabache, led by singer-songwriter Jaime "Alex" Ramírez, is a Chilean cumbia ranchera and tropi-pop band formed in 2010 in the IV Region of Chile. Known for their energetic and danceable style, the group quickly gained popularity both regionally and nationally. The band features Jaime Ramírez as the lead vocalist, Javier Narea on guitar, Diego Villalobos on drums, Felipe Leyton on bass, Sebastián Andrés on accordion, Hugo Rojas on saxophone, Pablo Castirales on trumpet, and Paul Ibacache on trombone, with Estefy Díaz as the güira player. Their dynamic performances are supported by a multidisciplinary technical team. Among their biggest hits is "El baile del caballito", while their latest single, "Tu Poeta", topped the charts, including the "weekly ranking" on Radio Corazón. Over the years, the band has evolved, including the addition of the region’s first female güira player. With their mix of ranchera and tropical pop rhythms, fast-paced beats, and catchy melodies, Alex y el Clan Azabache continues to be a leading force in Chile's tropical music scene.
