All About Eve

All About Eve was an English rock band known for blending folk-rock influences with gothic rock aesthetics. Formed in 1984, the group's core members were vocalist Julianne Regan, guitarist Tim Bricheno, and bassist Andy Cousin, with a rotating lineup over the years. Their most successful single, "Martha’s Harbour" (1988), reached the UK Top 10, while their self-titled debut album peaked at No. 7. They followed up with Scarlet and Other Stories (1989), another Top 10 success, before releasing Touched by Jesus (1991) and Ultraviolet (1992). Tim Bricheno left in 1990 and was replaced by Marty Willson-Piper of The Church. After lineup changes and label issues, the band disbanded in 1993 but reunited in 1999, touring and releasing live albums such as Fairy Light Nights. In 2004, they split again after releasing the single Let Me Go Home. Regan later collaborated with Bricheno, leading to the release of the 2024 album Apparitions.
