Based in San Diego, California, Almost Monday (stylised as almost monday) is an American indie pop trio founded in 2015 by Dawson Daugherty (vocals), Cole Clisby (guitar) and Luke Fabry (bass guitar). The three aspiring musicians shared similar musical interests during college and began jamming together, playing in garages and surf shops, cultivating their unique catchy and nostalgic style and catching the attention of The Killers producer Mark Needham, who co-produced their debut EP don’t say you’re ordinary. The EP featured the band’s first single, “Broken People” released on April 22, 2019, reaching number 27 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay charts, followed by “Come On Come On” on May 29, 2020, with the full EP released on Hollywood Records on October 9, 2020. In 2020, “Broken People” was remixed by musical duo Sofi Tukker, propelling the trio onto the dance scene and on January 26, 2021, they released “Live Forever”, the first single from their second EP Til the End of Time, released on July 9, 2021, in time for their festival debut at Lollapalooza. In 2022, they released two singles; “Sunburn” on April 8, 2022, and “Sun Keeps on Shining” on June 3, 2022.
