Amanda Blank is the stage name of American singer and rapper Amanda Mallory (March 21, 1983), who also performs regularly with the art collective Sweatheart. In addition to her solo career, her music has been featured on prime-time TV shows such as Life Support and CSI: NY, as well as the movie Observe and Report. Hailing from Germantown, a suburb in northwest Philadelphia, she made her first appearance on the mix CD Bmore Gutter Music (2005), in which she collaborated with rapper Spank Rock. She would also feature on the MC’s studio debut YoYoYoYoYo in 2006. After signing with Downtown Records in 2007, Amanda Blank made her solo debut with the album I Love You (2009), which featured production by Diplo and Dave Sitek. In the following years, she continued to collaborate with Spank Rock as she opened for major players in the alternative scene, including Peaches, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and labelmate Santigold. She resumed her career in 2019 with the single “Put Me Out,” which was followed by the single “Oh Man” in 2020 and “Love You Again” in 2021.
