Amato Danshi

Amando Danshi is a Japanese idol group known for its unique theme centered around "World Sweets Trends." Formed from finalists of a sweets-themed contest hosted by Hikino Tooru in 2014, the group quickly became ambassadors for promoting sweets through their music and public appearances. They debuted as singers under the name Amando Danshi 3illfy in 2015, following their success in the contest. Over the years, the group underwent several reconfigurations and name changes, with significant restructuring in 2017 when they split into two groups: Amando Danshi and Amando Danji. They continued to evolve, with various members graduating and new ones joining. By 2023, the group has streamlined to a six-member format focusing on regular live performances known as Amando Matsuri which celebrates their formation anniversary every April 23. Their discography includes several well-received singles, such as their debut "Baumkuchen" in 2022, which charted well across various Japanese music charts. The group's fanbase, known as "Sugar" (2022) remains engaged through interactive events and regular updates on the group's activities. Their release "Amadan Sweets Box" (2024) continues their tradition of sweet-themed music, further cementing their unique identity in the idol world.
