The Malaysian singer Andi Bernadee was born Andi Mapangile in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in 1991. He first came into the public eye as a frequent participant in the online karaoke smart device app `Smule', where his rendition of the song 'Aku Bukan Bang Toyib' was well-received and he became the first Malaysian singer to be featured in one of Smule's global advertising campaigns. Numerous offers to record songs came flooding in and he released his debut single 'No More Sorry ' in 2017. To promote himself Mapangile entered the Malaysian `Big Stage' reality show along with ten other young Malay hopefuls. Although he was voted out during the third week of the show the singer had already began to make a name for himself within the Malaysian music business. His second single titled 'A Chance' was released in 2018 but it wasn't until the 2019 release of the song 'Donde' that he made his major chart breakthrough.
