Born in Liège, Belgium, André Borbé soon aspired to make a living from musical creation. In a particular vein, he prefers to address most of his output to young audiences, mixing music with staging to make his concerts veritable musical spectacles. After releasing his first album, Le Secret De Cécile, in 1993, Borbé began touring, which he enjoyed immensely. Accumulating dates and countries over the years, and exporting beyond French-speaking countries (Spain, Brazil, Cuba...), his shows fueled his renown. In 2015, for his tenth project, Les Tympans Pimpants, André Borbé embarked on a three-year tour, performing 450 shows. His success and experience were rewarded by the Minister of Culture of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation for his eleventh show, Zinzin , in 2017, but also led him to share his know-how. His writing is often mobilized, in stories or illustrated books (such as Pousse-toi), and his commitment to young people is reflected in his participation in workshops and courses designed to open up the field of creation.
