Anike, formerly Wande—born Mutiat Yewande Isola and also taking the name Ireoluwa-Anike Dees—is a Nigerian Christian rapper who grew up in Round Rock, Texas. She is known for blending faith-driven messages with modern hip-hop beats and captivating, R&B-smoothed lyricism. After releasing her debut LP Exit in 2020, she quickly gained recognition for her ability to merge Christian values with the energy and authenticity of rap, creating music that resonates with both spiritual and mainstream audiences. Anike’s music is characterized by its uplifting, empowering themes, focusing on faith, perseverance, and the transformative power of God’s love. Her sound combines elements of gospel, trap, and contemporary hip-hop, delivering a fresh take on Christian rap that appeals to younger generations while maintaining a strong theological foundation. She has continued to build on this foundation with further releases such as mini-EP The Decision and singles such as "They Didn't Know It" (2022). Her second full-length, Haven, arrived in 2024 and featured guest appearances from Jekalyn Carr, Porsha Love, and others.
