Greek-speaking Cypriot singer Ánna Víssi was born in Lamarca on December 20, 1957. Known for representing Greece twice in the Eurovision Song Contest, she appeared in 1980 with the title "Ωτοστοπ " and finished in 13th place, then in 1982 with " Μόνο η αγάπη ", which earned her 5th place. His career, which began in 1977, continued successfully throughout the following decades, with some thirty studio albums, many of them certified gold or platinum, a dozen of which reached No. 1 in the charts, from Re! (1994) to Iliotropia (2019). In 2024, "Se periptosi pou" was her 20th No.1 hit in Cyprus.
