Without warning, the Canadian band Annihilator made their mark on the thrash and speed metal scene. Formed in 1984 at the instigation of guitarist and singer Jeff Waters, the band has undergone many changes of musicians over the course of a discreet but effective career. Acclaimed from the moment of its debut album Alice in Hell (1989) and especially Never, Neverland (1990), Annihilator then experienced a series of ups and downs, which were made up for by the albums King of the Kill (1995), Refresh the Demon (1996), All for You (2004) and Metal (2007), among the band's successes. The 2010 album Annihilator, followed by an appearance at the Hellfest festival, testifies to the band's new-found vigor, with the contribution of singer Dave Padden, present until the album Feast (2013). Suicide Society (2015) sees the band once again reunited around the frontman.
