Born in Västerås, Sweden, Antwan Afram (known as Ant Wan), is a Swedish hip-hop artist of Syrian origin who started his music career under the alias Råby. He switched to Ant Wan for the launch of his first EP, Wow, in 2019. This debut topped the Swedish Albums chart, with the single "Kall" peaking at number 2 on the Swedish singles chart. His subsequent singles "Sativa" and "Blessed" reached number 67 and number 11, respectively. In the same year, he released two more EPs, Ghettostar and Kapitel 21, both of which achieved remarkable success, ranking number 4 and Number 1 in Sweden, respectively. In 2020, his debut album 724 and its deluxe edition broke into the top 5 on the albums chart, featuring popular singles such as "Ingen Autotune," "Goat," and "Gango." Ant Wan's second LP, Leylas World, released in 2021, was led by singles "Jag & du," "Bars," and "No Love." This album helped him secure another top 5 spot with the single "1942." The same year, he released another full-length studio album, Wow 2, which soared to the top of the Swedish charts, propelled by the hit singles "Wenak," and “Marbella” which peaked at number 5 and 6 respectively. His following album, The Only Wan, became his third Number 1 album in 2022, featuring several hit songs including "Komplicerat" and "Dum.” In 2023, Ant Wan released a series of non-album singles, including “Gata,” “En till dans” and “Go,” returning the following year with “Sova” from his fourth EP, For Those Who Believed, which debuted at number 6. This EP topped the charts once more and featured several top 30 singles, including “Misstag,” “Luv,” and “Mirakel.” In 2024, in addition to the separate "Faller" (ranked number 10), all tracks from his new number one album, Wanderland, also appeared on the Swedish charts, including "Lover" (number 7).
