AOA Black, a subgroup of the South Korean girl group AOA, was established by FNC Entertainment in 2013, consisting of members Youkyung, Choa, Mina, Jimin, and Yuna. In early 2013, FNC Entertainment announced the formation of the sub-unit with teasers released mid-year. Their debut single album, MOYA, was released on July 26, 2013, featuring the title track as well as "Without You." Although the album achieved moderate success on the charts (reaching number 21 on the Billboard charts and 33 on the Gaon Music Chart), the group members gradually departed over the following years, leading to their official disbandment in 2021.
