Ardian Bujupi

The German R&B and urban singer Ardian Bujupi was born on April 27, 1991 in Priština of Kosovan-Albanian descent. The singer became famous through his participation in the casting show Deutschland sucht den Superstar in 2011 and has since released numerous songs in German, English and Albanian. Ardian Bujupi learned to play the drums and guitar at the age of ten and produced his own songs in his home studio even before taking part in the casting show. After being eliminated in the semi-finals of Deutschland sucht den Superstar , he released his debut single "This Is My Time" on November 11, 2011, which entered the German singles charts at number 40, the Swiss charts at number 44 and the Austrian singles charts at number 69. His debut album To the Top was released in December of the same year. Ardian Bujupi continues to release various singles and focuses on collaborations such as with the British singer and rapper Tony T in 2013 and with the Albanian singer Genta Ismajli in 2014. in 2016, Ardian Bujupi became a popular pop artist in his home country of Albania with his songs "Na jena njo" and "E embel" , but his albums Melodia (2017) and Rahat (2019) also achieved chart positions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. On April 26, 2019, Ardian Bujupi released the single "Wie im Traum" together with Fero47, with which he achieved his biggest chart success to date at number 15. In May 2021, the album 10 is released to mark his 10th anniversary. The next studio album, Aventura, follows a year later. The singer scored a minor hit with "Lotto", which reached number 22 in Switzerland. Together with Shpat Kasapi, the singer released the single " Valle Kosovare", which reached number 46 in Switzerland. In May 2024, Ardian Bujupi releases another studio album, Vegeta. The longplayer enters the German charts at number 98.
