Areti Ketime

Areti Ketime, born on July 26, 1989, in Athens, Greece, is a singer and santur player specializing in traditional Greek music. She began santur lessons at age six and turned professional in 2005. At 13, she collaborated with Yorgos Dalaras in live performances, marking her entry into professional music. In 2004, she sang at the Athens Olympics opening ceremony. Over the years, she performed in concerts like Kyklamina (2008), collaborated with Turkish singer Dilek Koç (2010), and toured North America in 2015. In 2017, Ketime attempted to represent Greece at Eurovision but was disqualified due to her label’s financial issues.
