Arunita Kanjilal (January 18, 2003) is an Indian playback singer, mostly known as the winner of the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Bangla. Born in Calcutta, she began receiving singing lessons from her mother at the age of 2. In 2013, when she was just 10 years old, she jumped to fame by winning the Bengali talent show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Bangla, which gave her a confidence boost to kick off her solo career. After lending her voice to the soundtrack of the Hindi film Aparichit, Arunita Kanjilal participated in the talent competition Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs 2014, and then in the twelfth season of Indian Idol in 2020, making it to the show’s grand finale and finishing up in second place. In 2021, she became the youngest Indian person to ever perform at the Wembley SSE Arena in London and featured on composer Himesh Reshammiya’s Himesh Ke Dil Se album on the tracks “Teri Ummeed,” “Piya Ji Ke Sanng,” and “Laal Hari Peeli Choodiyaan,” which entered the Indian Top 100 at Number 94.
