Raised in the Paris region, Axel Tony fell under the spell of Boyz II Men and Dru Hill's R&B as a teenager. A member of a gospel choir, Axel Tony began his career in 2006 as Diam's backing vocalist. His particularly velvety voice helped him to be quickly in demand, and he went on to accompany the likes of Kery James and Yannick Noah. Axel Tony is not destined to remain an eternal second-rate performer, so he sets about developing his own style. His West Indian origins led him to move into zouk R&B with " Les Feux de l'amour " in 2011. In 2012, Axel Tony accelerated the course of his career with the successive releases of "Avec toi" and "Ma reine" with Admiral T. It was "Avec toi" that finally opened the doors to the SNEP top in September. Axel Tony releases his debut album Je Te Ressemble in April 2013.
