Ayahi Takagaki

Ayahi Takagaki (born October 25, 1985, in Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanese actress and singer. Takagaki graduated from a music college in Tokyo with a major in operatic singing and took on her first major voice acting roles in 2007, voicing Jasmine in Deltora Quest and Lucia Nahashi in Venus Versus Virus. Forming a quartet with Aki Toyosaki, Haruka Tomatsu, and Minako Kotobuki to record “Future Stream” from First Love Limited (2009), the group rebranded as Sphere and the theme was released as the group's first single on April 22, 2009. They went on to record other songs, including the opening theme "Super Noisy Nova" for Sora no Manimani, released as a single in July, 2009, and "It Raises the Wind/Brave My Heart" in November, 2009. As a solo artist, Takagaki contributed to various anime soundtracks, including "Kimi ga Iru Basho" (君がいる場所) (2010) from Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin, "Hikari no Fillment" (光のフィルメント) (2010) from Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu, and "Meteor Light" (2012) from Senki Zesshou Symphogear, all of which charted in the Top 20. These tracks were included on her debut solo album Relation, released on April 17, 2013, which reached number 8 on the Oricon charts. Her next album, Individual, appeared in November 2015, charting at number 25 and included tracks such as "Kaze ni Naru" (風になる) for the PSP game Juzaengi: Engetsu Sangokuden 2, "Ai no Hi" (愛の陽), and "Rebirth-day" from the anime Senki Zesshou Symphogear GX, with the latter reaching number 10 on the Oricon singles chart. Further contributions to the Senki Zesshou Symphogear franchise included “Futurism” (2017) and "Lasting Song." (2019) A greatest hits album, Radiant Memories, appeared in April 2021. In 2024, she reunited with Aki Toyosaki to release the EP トゥインクルクス, led by its title track, which climbed to number 26 on the Oricon Top 50 charts.
