Badmómzjay

The German rapper Badmómzjay was born under the name Jordan Napieray on September 27, 2002. Her family comes from Poland. The artist grew up in Brandenburg an der Havel. She raps in the style of trap music. Her musical role models include artists such as 21 Savage, Nick Minaj and Cardi B. The rapper records her songs in German and English. Her unmistakable trademarks include her artificial long fingernails and her long hair dyed deep red. She released her first single "24/7" in December 2019. Prior to this, she released the song "Papi" together with Swiss rapper Monet192. Badmózjay reached number 27 in the German charts with her single "Move" in spring 2020. Together with Kasimir1441 and Wildbwoys, the artist achieved a number 1 hit in Germany and Austria with the single "Ohne Dich". The singer was briefly criticized for the song "Snowbunny". The magazine hip-hop.de describes Badmómzjay as one of the most exciting up-and-coming rappers on the German rap scene. In 2020, she received the Hiphop.de Award for Best Newcomer National. A year later, the rapper received the MTV Europe Music Award for Best German Act. With the single "Tu nicht so" (2021), Badmómzjay makes it onto the soundtrack of the game FIFA 22. In 2022, she scores another top hit with the single "Keine Tränen". The second studio album Survival Mode followed at the end of 2023 and reached number 4 in Germany. In March, the rapper releases her first mixtape, Don't Trust Bitches. It reaches number 5 in Germany.
