Bai Lu

Born on September 23, 1994 in Changzhou, Jiangsu, China Bai Mengyan is known professionally as Bai Lu: a model and actor who in 2017 began dipping her toes into music. Bai Lu sparked an interest in acting after watching Korean TV dramas as a teenager and began her career in the spotlight as a model before learning the ropes as an actor on several short films produced by Cattree studio. The following year, she edged towards the mainland China market to star in period costume drama Menghui Chaoge and romantic comedy The King Isn't Easy. She continued to take up acting roles over the next few years, known best for her roles as Zhao Yao in 2019 xianxia drama The Legends and Jiang Jun in 2020 workplace drama Love is Sweet. She has also played Long Aoyi in 2020 Chinese Tang Dynasty costume drama, Nine Stream Overlord – the same year as picking up the New Power Female Star of the Year award at the 2019 Toutiao Annual Ceremony. She made a cameo in a TV drama dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese mainland, Ace Force, in 2021. Her musical endeavors primarily revolve around TV and film soundtracks, including "Want to be With You," recorded for 2019 Chinese idol drama, Lucky's First Love, and 2021 single "Heartbeat," which was recorded for Chinese mainland TV series, Forever and Ever.
