Bantunani

Real name Michel Nzau Vuanda, Bantunani was born on March 15, 1976, in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, and has had a project to his name since 2006, accompanied by the band The Mininani's. Together, they produce an eclectic mix of blues, funk, reggae, soul, rock, electro and funk. Their debut album, released in 2008, showcases the new musical trend of which Bantunani is the ambassador. Entitled RumbaLounge, Discovering Nu-rumba, it preceded Africanization by two years. A rich discography was born in the 2010s, including Intrigant in 2013, Promises in 2014 and Theman in 2015. Recorded entirely in Kinshasa, but mixed and mastered in London, Chicago or New York, MoonKinJazz is the perfect reflection in 2019 of Bantunani's adventurous, borderless music, with the 2020 single "Another Place (Mother's Arms)".
