Bárbara Sofia Holanda Bandeira (June 23, 2001), simply known as Bárbara Bandeira, is a Portuguese pop singer. Born in the city of Azeitão, she knew she wanted to be a performer from a very early age, following the footsteps of her father, the popular singer Rui Bandeira. At the age of 9, she participated in the TV talent show Uma Canção para Ti. In 2012, she made her first recording ever on her father’s song “Tu És Parte de Mim,” included in the album Chegou a Hora. Two years later, Bárbara Bandeira competed on the reality singing show The Voice Kids, where she was coached by Anselmo Ralph. Even though she wasn’t crowned winner, her involvement in the show helped pave the way for her musical debut in 2015 with the single “Crazy.” She followed up in 2016 with the single “És Tu,” which was featured on the soap opera Espelho d’Agua. In 2018, she was named Revelation of the Year at the Globo de Ouro awards and her first EP Cartas reached the top of the Portuguese charts. Subsequently, Bárbara Bandeira collaborated with Kasha on the track “Eu Não” (2020) and her 2021 single “Onde Vais” entered the Portuguese Top 50 at Number 28.
