Barthélemy Corbelet, who prefers the pseudonym Barth, is one of those Frenchmen who went to Abbey Road to find the Holy Grail of pop. Barth's thing is airy pop, floating vocals and, curiously, a desire for dub sounds. Spotted via Under the Trampoline in 2006, he released Cuchillo in 2008, followed by Cuchillo Revisited at the end of the same year, for fans of his precious arrangements
