Becky Buller

One of the most popular contemporary bluegrass performers of her generation, Becky Buller has been racking up the honors since the early 2000s. Born in St. James, Minnesota, on January 31, 1979, Rebecca Buller studied fiddle at the Mankato Conservatory and was concert master with the Mankato Area Youth Symphony Orchestra in 1997. Based in Manchester, Tennessee, she recorded the albums Rest My Weary Feet (2000) and Little Bird (2004), and began to make a name for herself composing for artists such as Rhonda Vincent, Doyle Lawson and Kenny Smith & Amanda Smith. Alongside her own career with the albums Here's a Little Song (duet with Valerie Smith, 2008), 'Tween Earth and Sky (2014), Crêpe Paper Heart (2018) or Distance and Time (2020), Becky Buller established herself as a leading composer for The Infamous Stringdusters, The Churchmen, Ricky Skaggs, Russell Moore & IIIrd Time Out, The Special Consensus, The Travelin' McCourys or Molly Tuttle. Winner of a dozen International Bluegrass Awards, she is one of the most prominent artists in the genre. She makes several appearances at the Grand Ole Opry with her band, The Becky Buller Band, and performs in The First Ladies of Bluegrass. Following the release of her album The Perfect Gift (2022), the fiddler and singer was inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame in April 2023. The following year saw the release of her eighth album, Jubilee.
