Bell Yu Tian (April 19, 1989) is a Malaysian singer-songwriter, mostly known for her numerous contributions to film soundtracks. She sings in Mandarin, English, Cantonese, Hakka, and Malay. Hailing from the state of Malacca, Bell Yu Tian made her official debut in 2012 with the single “Bring Me Away,” a song she wrote, produced and arranged herself. The track quickly became massively popular in her native Malaysia, reaching the top of the charts and earning her countless awards along the way. Sunny, her first full-length, saw the light in 2012. Shortly after, “Bring Me Away” was included in the soundtrack for Stanley Law’s 2013 romantic film Paper Moon, further boosting Bell Yu Tian’s profile in both Malaysia and mainland China. In the following years, Bell Yu Tian sang the theme song for the movies ATM (2015), The Kid from the Big Apple (2015), and The Kid from the Big Apple 2: Before We Forget (2017), and dropped an eponymous second album in 2020, which featured the tear-jerking pop rock number “他不愛你” (“He Doesn’t Love You”).
