Ferhat Yılmaz (born on February 25, 1991 in Bonn, Germany), known by his stage name Ben Fero, is a Turkish rapper and songwriter. Inspired by the music of Tupac Shakur as a child, he moved to Turkey with his family and upon graduating from university, released his first two singles "Mahallemiz Esmer” and "Kimlerdensin" in August 2018. Leaving his sales career to focus on a career in the entertainment industry, Fero’s third single “3 2 1” (2018), attracted a considerable online audience and he released his first studio album Orman Kanunları on February 20, 2019, with lead single "Biladerim İçin", topping the Turkish charts for several weeks, earning him the award for Best Newcomer Artist at the 16th Radio Boğaziçi Music Awards in May. Fero’s first EP Yabani (2020) included the hit single “Ferhat Yilmaz” which peaked at number 9 on the Turkish Billboard chart. In 2021, Fero collaborated with German rapper Gringo on “50 Kilo”, following this with a further three singles in 2022: "Bunlar Anlamaz", "Çok Kolay" and "Emirhan Bir Maymundur".
