A rapper from the north of France, Villeneuve-d'Ascq-born Thomas Léger aka BEN plg (born January 4, 1992) first came to prominence when he took part in Nouvelle École, the French-language adaptation of Rhythm + Flow, which aims to raise the profile of up-and-coming rap artists. Before devoting himself to music, the artist worked for almost ten years as a facilitator for people with disabilities. He launched his musical career in 2019 with the album Pour la Gloire, followed the next year by Dans Nos Yeux . In 2021, he followed up with Parcours Accidenté, featuring two guests, Bekar and Djalito. Then, in 2022, he unveils three consecutive EPs: Réalité Rap Musique, Vol.1, 2 and 3. After J'Rêve Mieux Qu'Avant in 2023, he released a new full-length studio opus in 2024, Dire Je t'Aime, featuring collaborations with Niro, Sofiane Pamart, Georgio, B.B. Jacques and Loud. BEN plg's reputation grew with the release of his album Paraît Que Les Miracles N'Existent Pas (2025), which reached number 23 in the French charts and included duets with ZKR, Zed Yun Pavarotti and his own mother.
