Benjamin Hav

Mads Benjamin Kortland Hav (born June 12, 1985 in Willemoesgade) - or Benjamin Hav for short - is a musician and rapper from Denmark. The artist is the son of the poet Niels Hav. In 2013, Benjamin Hav made his debut with the EP Baby together with producer Magnus Albert Wanscher and Benal. This formation received several awards for its releases until 2019. It was not until 2020 that Benjamin Hav made his breakthrough as a solo artist with the albums Spice Up Your Life (number 2 in Denmark) and Dit syge dyr (number 10 in Denmark). The following year, the rapper released the album Tesla. The album reaches number 5 in the Danish charts and contains the disco hit "Den dejligste boy". The song reaches number 28 in Denmark and platinum status. In 2022, the album Tesla is awarded the Danish music prize Gaffa Award for hip-hop album of the year. In 2023, Benjamin Hav releases the single "Første Dag" together with Ella Augusta. The song only entered the Danish singles charts at number 30 later, at the end of June 2024.
