Biaziouka

Born in 1995 in Emilia-Romagna, Sara Bia grew up in a family of Moroccan origin, which moved to France in her teens. Arriving in a new country, she was forced to adapt to a new culture, quickly learning French to fit in, and then enrolling in a BTS in fashion. At the same time, attracted by musical expression, she cultivated her two passions, oscillating between the profiles of stylist and musician. After sharing a cover of Khalid, the doors of the Blue Sky studios opened, resulting in a first single released under the name Biaziouka in October 2020, "Funambule". This piano-vocal track, sung in French, heralded a debut EP, Faracha, released the following month. Biaziouka's pop, tinged with rap and chanson aesthetics, quickly won over audiences and critics alike, who hailed her multicultural approach, which takes in France, Italy and Morocco. With Kalimat (2021), an eight-track EP, the singer asserts her style and opens up to other artists ("Zina" with Tawsen), with tracks in French, Italian and Arabic. Influenced as much by Abdel Halim as Laylow or Mahmoud, Biaziouka met with success both in music and textiles, following a collaboration with Converse in 2022. The following year, the album Seen Today, unveiled in May 2023, allowed the artist to return to the forefront of the scene, perfecting her style with ten tracks that further consolidated her reputation.
