Béatrice Adjorkor Anyankor was born on January 9, 1957 in Accra, Ghana, into the family of a diplomat. A Franco-Ghanaian, she soon became a singer and settled in Paris. In 1985, her song "Tout doucement" reached number two in the Top 50. Bibie herself sang a version in English, with Dalida interpreting it in Italian. " J'veux pas l'savoir" was another hit in 1986, but proved insufficient to boost Bibie's album. Despite her efforts, the albums Tendress'moi (1988), La P'tite Black (1990), Femme d'Ici ou d'Ailleurs (1992) and Sereine (2003) failed to bring her back to the top. In 2010, Bibie relives her glory days with others on RFM Party 80 Love & Party , where she takes part in the romantic part of the show.
