Bill Connors is a guitarist who played with Mike Nock and Steve Swallow in San Francisco in the early 1970s. He is best known for his contribution to Chick Corea's fusion group Return to Forever, in particular his guitar on the 1974 album 'Hymn of the Seventh Galaxy'. Connors then decided to concentrate on acoustic guitar, releasing the solo albums 'Theme to the Guardian', 'Of Mist and Melting' (1977) and 'Swimming With a Hole in My Body' (1979). His three 1980s works 'Step It' (1985), 'Double Up' (1986) and 'Assembler' (1987) saw him return to the electric guitar, but met with limited commercial success.
