Black Caviar are an EDM duo comprised of DJ and drummer Jared Piccione and producer Troy Hinson. The pair became friendly after meeting at gigs where they were performing in separate bands and the Black Caviar project began life as a weekend hobby for the two musicians. In 2015 the concept began to show promise after they released a version of Mojo's 'Lady (Hear me Tonight)' which went viral. In 2017 the band signed a deal with Casablanca Records and released their major label debut 'Coco' later that year. The band began to specialise in remixes of other artists' work and released a series of singles such as 'Down', 'That Love' and 'Man's Not Hot' originally recorded by Marian Hill, Shaggy and Big Shaq respectively. In 2018 Piccione and Hinson had a major break when the were invited to create the theme music for a the latest film in the 'Spider-Man' franchise. The track 'What's Up Danger' featured the rapper Blackway and helped project the film's soundtrack to number one in Billboard's Soundtrack Chart.
