BLACK6IX is a former South Korean boy band formed by Black Hole Entertainment who debuted in April 2017 with their single "Please." The group originally consisted of six members: TaeYoung, The King, JongWoon, YongSeok, Ziki, and Yey. Each member contributed a unique skill to the group, resulting in a genre-spanning sound that incorporated elements of pop, hip-hop, and R&B. Their debut platformed a mix of strong vocals, tight choreography, and a fresh sound that quickly attracted interest from fans both domestically and internationally. BLACK6IX continued to put out music in the form of songs such as "Like a Flower" and mini-albums like Swamp of Despair and Nice to Meet You, the latter propelled by its catchy title track "Call My Name." However, the group disbanded shortly after the release of Nice to Meet You in April 2021.
