Block 33 are a UK-based mod revival band comprising members Dan Dodson (lead vocal/rhythm guitar), Jamie Moore (drums/percussion), Andy Manning (lead guitar/backing vocals) and Stephen ‘Keano’ Gardner (bass guitar). Forming in the late 2010s, the group blend the classic sounds of 1960s British mod culture with a contemporary edge, channelling a distinct mix of ska, soul, and British beat music. Block 33’s sound channels the spirit of the mod movement, drawing influence from iconic bands like The Jam, The Who, and The Small Faces while also infusing their music with modern sensibilities. Block 33 released their debut single "Eye of the Hurricane" in 2018, and "What the World's Expecting" followed in 2019. Their crowd-funded debut album, 6:36 To Liverpool Street, brought their sound to a wider audience, and they have since released two more studio LPs: 2022's The Day the World Stood Still and 2025's The Promised Land.
