Country duo Blue Country is made up of Aaron Benward and Scott Reeves. Having previously played in duo Aaron Jeoffrey with his father, Benward was familiar with the industry and wished to take his music in new directions. Joining up with friend and fellow musician Reeves, they released their debut single 'Good Little Girls' in 2003, peaking at number eleven in the Billboard Country Chart. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2004, peaked at number seven on the Heatseekers Chart and number 32 on the Country Chart. After releasing a further three singles from the album - 'That's Cool', 'Nothin' But Cowboy Boots' and 'That Summer Song' - they put out two non-album tracks as singles, titled 'Firecrackers and Ferris Wheels' and 'I Get To'. Parting ways with Curb Records there was no new material from Blue Country until 2018 when they revealed a revival in the form of a European tour.
