Boris Way

French DJ Boris Equestri, known by his stage name Boris Way, was born in Draguignan, in the Var region of France, and grew up in Cavalaire-sur-Mer. He began his musical career playing guitar and drums in rock bands, before developing a passion for electronic music. He became a DJ in Nice clubs. He opened for Kungs, then the duo Ofenbach and Quentin Mosimann. A resident at l'Etoile, he managed to convince Spinnin' Records to release the tracks "Sunday" and "Come Fire" in 2016, before releasing "Your Love" on Parlophone the following year. This last track is the one that brings him out of anonymity. Featuring Tom Bailey on vocals, the song entered the French charts at number 87 and the Belgian charts at number 37. In 2022, following the resurgence of Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill ", which reached number one in the UK charts thanks to its recurring appearance in season 4 of the hit series Stranger Things, Boris Way decided to remix the track into a house version, which reached number 112 in the French charts.
