BOYFRIEND

South Korean boyband Boyfriend (Korean: 보이프렌드) were formed by Starship Entertainment in 2011 and are notable for being the first K-pop boy group to include two twin members. The group comprising Kim Dong-hyun, Shim Hyun-seong, Lee Jeong-min, Jo Young-min, Jo Kwang-min, and No Min-woo stepped out with their debut eponymous single on Mnet's Countdown in May 2011 and unleashed the follow-up in December 2011, "Don't Touch My Girl." That same year, they were crowned Best New Artist at the 26th Golden Disc Awards. Janus, Boyfriend's debut studio album for Starship Entertainment, arrived in 2012 and went to number two on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart. Their Japanese debut Seventh Mission came two years later with subsequent Japanese album Seventh Color following in 2014. The group's fourth album Bouquet was released in 2019 and they disbanded shortly after. After reuniting in 2021 and releasing a new digital single titled "Ending Credit," they made a comeback under the new name BF and released an EP called Adonis.
