Boyzlife is an Irish pop duo comprised of vocalists Keith Duffy (born October 1, 1974) and Brian McFadden (born April 12, 1980), both former members of popular Irish boybands of the 1990s and 2000s. Keith Duffy had been a member of Boyzone, a group formed in 1993. They scored nine Number 1 singles in Ireland and six in the UK. Boyzone were the second most popular boyband in the UK (behind Take That) but split up in 2000. They reunited in 2008 and spent the next 11 years touring and recording. They split up for good in 2019. Keith Duffy’s partner in Boyzlife, Brian McFadden, was a member of Westlife, who formed in 1998. Westlife had 14 Number 1 singles on the UK chart, all of them entering the charts in the top position. However, Brian McFadden left the band in March 2004 to spend more time with his family and pursue a solo career. Outside of creating music with their respective groups, Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden appeared on many television chat / reality/ talent shows. Joining forces in 2016, the duo began performing as Boyzlife, singing songs from each other’s respective groups. Their first album, Strings Attached (2020), featured nine Westlife and Boyzone songs performed with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Their second album, Old School, was released in 2022 and was their first album featuring original material.
