Brav began rapping in 1996 in Le Havre (Seine-Maritime). Born Wilfried Barray on August 5, 1982, he was one half of the Bouchées Doubles duo formed with his accomplice Tiers-Monde. After two albums on the Din Records label, the two friends parted ways in 2007 and each embarked on a solo career. Brav released "Brav'heart" in 2012, and is now hard at work on a debut album. Postponed several times, Sous France was finally released in physical format and digitally in January 2015. Brav won't wait as long for his successor, Error 404, which comes out in early 2016 and slips into the top half of the French top 100 sales charts. The following year, he launched a fundraising campaign for the Nous Sommes EP, which saw the light of day in 2018. Signed to the Monarchy label distributed by Universal Music, Brav signs a few tracks before releasing the documentary Parachute in 2021. He then set up his own label, Aprèsminuit, which released the album Café Crève (2024), featuring contributions from Youssef Swatt's, Shy'm, Cäroline and trumpeter Ludovic Louis.
