Broussaï hails from Saône-et-Loire and, alongside Dub Incorporation and Danakil, embodies French reggae with a strong identity. With a band featuring horns and keyboards, Broussaï released the six-track EP Side One in 2006. Self-produced, Broussaï made its mark in 2004 with Insurrection. With Avec des Mots in 2007, Broussaï continued to build momentum, before Perspectives in 2009 proved to be the French reggae album of the year. Broussaï's commitment to the live scene continues in October 2011 with the CD and DVD Rêve d'Evolution. Recorded at the legendary Harry J Studio in Jamaica, Kingston Town is a testament to Broussaï's excellent arrangements.
